PROTON X90 ‘Unveiling’

To date, the most luxurious Proton model ever.  Marketed as premium & stylish, we stayed away from fancy camera moves & fast cuts.  Working with JPS productions & Clients Proton for the 1^st time, was an eye-opener.  Unaccustomed to not having an Agency have a pre-approved board, meant that we were our own creatives.  Coming up with ideas of this scale with many USPs to boot in 1.5 weeks, was the main challenge of the entire production.  Once we had these ideas then the shoot just flowed smoothly, although we were also hard-pressed for time with so many scenes to shoot & locations to move to (Dash, Suke, Paya Indah Wetlands, KL city, House in Semenyih, KL Sentral), & the rain hampering our progress for a few hours on the 1^st day (we shot this entire video – the 3min 35sec full duration not shown here – in 3.5 days).  And I was told that we were the 1^st production to shoot on the SUKE highway – so that’s a great plus point. Shooting in KL city in front of Pavilion was also a challenge even though we had rolling roadblocks, but there were just so many people parked by the roadsides & the Raya décor adorned the streets.   1^st Ad was Shane, DPed by Eric Yeong, using the Mavo 8k, & Panasonic S1H for car rigs.  Color graded by Jing from Meccanica EFX, & edited by Ng, & Onlined by Xian Gen (freelance).  Music by Ananth.
