PETPET ‘The Happy Diaper’
Let me be the millionth person to tell you that shooting babies is never easy. It’s all teamwork. Adding to the pressure, we’re required by Clients DSG & Agency Y&R Malaysia, to show the happiest & smiliest expressions on these little future ‘stars’ that we really have no control over. And that’s why it’s even more satisfying when you view the final product, & all you see are genuine laughs & warm moments portrayed through their tiny little faces & gestures. Taking on the endeavor was Take Two Productions & it’s great team of freelancers & personnel, & with a baby boy & girl – aged between 12-14 months – & lots of crying & waiting & sleeping in between, we managed to complete the shoot by nightfall. I must say that the biological parents played an integral part in the success of the commercial as they were the ones who knew how to bond with their child & certain things to do to make their child respond. Shooting with 3 cameras; Canon C300, Canon 5D Mark II & Canon 6D, definitely helped with the pace, drastically reducing the number of resets normally required for a job of this nature.
