CARRIE JUNIOR ‘Hairstyle’
Working with One Worldwide & ad agency Nerve Centre, we came up with a spot for clients Wipro Unza to feature a new hair shampoo for kids. The success of the commercial hinged mainly on the petite shoulders of our leading 5 year old girl talent, who performed above expectations much to everyone’s delight. It was as though she had an on/off switch, one moment she’s fooling around being a kid that she is, & once we yell ‘Action’ she would get into the groove & hit her mark almost every time. The other challenge came from animating Carrie herself, & ensuring the interaction between child & elephant came across seamlessly. We shot this commercial using the ARRI ALEXA with Nick Lee as DOP, at a house in Bukit Jelutong. Color Grading, CGI, Offline & Online completed at Tiger Tiger.
