PROTON X90 ‘Unveiling’

To date, the most luxurious Proton model ever. Marketed as premium & stylish, we stayed away from fancy camera moves & fast cuts. Working with JPS productions & Clients Proton for the 1st time, was an eye-opener. Unaccustomed to not having an Agency have a pre-approved board, meant that we were our own creatives. Coming […]

TOYOTA ‘Move Your World’

A local internal campaign meant to showcase some of the talents within the automotive giant & how what they do is able to ‘move’ the company forward. From Agency Trapper working with Shootworksasia, we planned for a 3 day shoot with 10 skilled employees, in various locations, the main MV Office, a sales showroom, a […]

TOYOTA ‘TOUR 2023’

An original concept from Agency Hakuhodo & produced by Shootworksasia. I found this very exciting as I enjoy coming up with matching split-screens & almost literally changed most of the scenarios. While we needed the scenes to make sense, to match but with strict dos & don’ts from the clients about revealing too much about […]

TOYOTA ‘Deepavali 2022’

This was a less hectic shoot, as compared to the previous campaign, as there were less car shots & a big focus on the 2D animation sequences. From Agency Dentsu who came up with this original concept & Shootworksasia, we brainstormed & tweaked the idea to better showcase the beauty of Deepavali in its most […]

TOYOTA VIOS ‘Made for More’

I must admit, it’s been a while since I’ve shot a full on car commercial, & on this scale. The biggest I’ve ever done to be honest. Of course, it came with many challenges, especially shooting this many shots within 3 days – ended having 1 additional conti day due to rain. From the mind […]

SHELL BOBA ‘Manifesto’

I felt somewhat honored to be picked to shoot Shell’s so-called comeback into the realm of advertising. After a long hiatus, they wanted to come back with a bang & were willing to break from their norm; they wanted a more daring & different way of presenting their ideas. Hence, Shell tasked the agency Geometry Global & […]

MERCEDES-BENZ ‘Never Stop Improving – Nauraj’

After the success of the Mercedes-Benz CNY videos, Publicis EMIL once again engaged MU Productions & myself to help envision their Never Stop Improving campaign videos. I jumped in fully prepared to give it my all. The main challenge we faced was the time factor. 1 long day to complete 2 long videos. Thankfully, we […]

MERCEDES-BENZ ‘Never Stop Improving – Soraya’

This was like a passion project with MU Productions. It’s been a dream of mine to shoot something that combined human elements of fitness & endurance with something tangible & equally powerful & engaging. Thus, the Never Stop Improving campaign was launched with Mercedes. We used real-life people who are professionals in their own fields […]

NISSAN SERENA ‘Simply Magical’

The 3rd Nissan spot with Twisted Media, & 1st car spot with Agency People n Rich. Shot over 2 days, this was a pretty straightforward idea as Clients wanted it to be a more family-oriented where all can enjoy the uniqueness of the new Nissan Serena. It was a very product-oriented spot, featuring 4 USPs & […]

ISUZU BEAST ‘Uncaged’

We truly outdid ourselves on this webfilm. Collaborating with Nicholas Lazaroo, with production house Spyder Web & agency Leo Burnett, we crafted an action-packed/stealth board with over 40 shots, accomplished in 1 day – from the evening till the next morning. We had to trim & rework the Agency concept to something that was achievable […]
