POWERROOT ‘Tunaikan Hasrat Umrah’
A 1-week turnaround, that’s how quick it took for us to produce this job. And it’s turned out great actually. A simple storyline from Agency Oxygen, with production overseen by Singnan/ScreenAsia Network, we casted the 3 talents who were emotive & expressive, built a very small L-shaped wall set in a studio & shot it using the Sony FS7, with Loh as DOP once again. We wanted the visuals to feel pure, clean & unadulterated, but that doesn’t mean it has to look boring. We shot it almost like a beauty commercial, with foreground bokeh effects, shallow depths of fields, etc. Full post-production was completed in VHQ & clients responded exceptionally well to the longer version – which is what you see – as compared to a 15sec TVC – that didn’t have a long enough duration to showcase the finer details of the acting.
