MAMEE NOODLE SNACK ‘Lebih Rangup with Iman Troye’
More fun times with Mamee, & Agency M&C Saatchi, together with Lightflux Productions in crafting this spot. The main challenge was to get the dance right; something playful, catchy & maybe even viral? But simple enough that our KOL Iman Troye can actually learn the choreography & also not run too much from her own persona/style. Iman Troye composed & sang the jingle. We gathered a top notch team for the production, including Dance choreographer Kalai, who working together with Agency’s & Client’s brief & Iman’s own personal preference, came up with the final dance that you see. We were given a total of 6.5 hours for production & we managed to shoot everything in 31 Square studio – using the upstairs & dressing it up to look like a modern GenZ recording studio (Art directed by Kok Ming) & then the dance sequences against a yellow limbo photo paper. As usual, we had our Mamee Monster stand-in, who persevered to learn the dance as much as possible, to provide invaluable references for the 3D artists at WAU.
