CONNOR’S ‘Glass Evolution’
One of 3 new spots for Connor’s with the general idea from Agency Grey Malaysia, & clients Carlsberg & PH Motionrom. I’m incredibly proud of the end results of all 3 spots, & this video, like the other, provides a very sleek & stylish look at the evolution from the old glass to the new. With the same team, & art department Harris, he created some simple mechanized rigs to move the glass up & down through a hole cut through a glass base. Simple, yet precise. This definitely eased our burden of manually moving the glass through the hole take after take. We had some Laowa lens shot moving through the glass & also the creation of 3D coaster that would interact with the glass when it’s absorbed into the ‘other’ dimension. Shot over 2 days (half in studio, half at location) with DOP Nick Lee & the Red Komodo, & edited by Pan, with full post completed in VHQ by Online artist KC.
