BURGER KING ‘It’s Real’
The 2nd film in the series; with the concept from Agency TBWA & Lightflux Productions, was a continuation of food porn, but involving ingredients. This was another fun one, as we wanted to make the ingredients look fresh & visually exciting, with some dynamic camera movements & simple transitions. The onion rig was brilliant, ensuring everything aligned perfectly without any sudden movements. Some additional last minute challenges was adding a hand into the mayonnaise spreading shot to hold the bun in place, as we had to follow Burger King’s SOPs. Shot with 2 separate camera setups – indoors (for beauty complete Whopper & talent shots) & outdoors (for the grilling shots) of the Burger King outlet in Shah Alam, saved us a lot of time instead of traveling to another studio. The grilling shots went pretty smoothly – except for some ‘patty-enlargement’ requirements for certain scenes, & we needed a lot of time to beautify the burger shots – especially for the consumption scenes that took quite a few takes to get the most sumptuous expressions.
