McCORMICK ‘Rasa Ala Restoran’
A simple idea from Agency 180° but made visually interesting for McCormick & Company Incorporated under 180°s own inhouse production. Because of logistics and budgetary constraints, we had to shoot everything in a studio. Talents (including the ones in the background generic restaurant) were shot against greenscreen with AI-generated backgrounds & transitions, and all food shots executed live with specific rigs for action shots courtesy of Art Department Harris & team. I wanted movement in every frame, be it camera or subject movements to create a certain kinetic energy heightening our senses to the product appeal as much as possible. To manage the timing, we had 2 separate setups with 2 cameras shooting concurrently, one on talents and one on food. Shot with DP Win Ng using the Sony FX3, and the Pixboom Spark for the high speed shots. Edited, Graded & Onlined in house by Jason.
