KWSP ‘#SimpanSiniLagiOK with Janna Nick’
The brief & board (from Agency MBCS) was a simple one. Shoot our KOL Janna Nick against a plain background as she plays multiple characters calling the public to save in EPF. But, we, together with Optinovus Films, took it a step further & made it fun, lively & looking as polished as it can be. We did shoot in a studio, but utilizing the make-up area, the lobby – turning that into an office with a day-to-night feel, and a BTS scene of Janna working in front of the camera. For the white limbo background scenes, we created actual shadows using a cookie cut-out to resemble a window, which helped to soften & make the whole spot feel more approachable & not just a stark white in-you-face visual. The transitions between each character required some careful planning as to where she would appear each time, & because Janna is such a pro at what she does, she infused relatable characteristics into each of the personas she portrayed. It was such a joy to watch her perform. We further enhanced those scenes with subtle sfx cues that you would normally find in those work environments.
