JETOUR T2 ‘DARE TO DOMINATE’

This was so much fun to execute, trying to incorporate different ways of transitioning from scene to scene, etc.  From Agency TBWA, & working with Lightflux Productions once more, we produced a premium yet rugged spot for the new T2.  The brief was to show the versatility of the car in an urban environment, but not forgetting that it’s more than a capable AWD vehicle for all kinds of terrains.  Hence, we put it to the test.  Shot in 2.5 days, we covered KL city skylines, together with outskirt areas all the way in Batang Kali, Rawang Bypass & Semenyih.  We needed to feature 3 cars together at times, & that was the main challenge. With so many shots, we had to split 2 teams to cover some USPs & some additional talent shots as well.  With unique transitions, we required slightly longer setups & double passes to achieve them, but it paid off in the end.  We used some locked-camera techniques to the car tailgate, and what I was truly excited about was the F1 Tilta Rig & this was the perfect opportunity for it, as we had 3 cars & I could feature 2 of them, giving a sense of purpose to the shot & not just have that shot for the sake of having it.  Because we couldn’t complete all shots in the outskirts, we had to have the additional ½ day but we chose to do it in Semenyih with a guerilla team (including the water truck) & just the DJI Inspire 3, which worked wonders.  Shot using the Sony Venice with anamorphic lenses, DJI Ronin 4d, Nikon ZR (together with the Tilta F1 rig), DJI Inspire 3 (How Yi), Go Pro, Insta360 X5 & the Howmoco & Motorcrane.  DPed by Oscar Tong, Graded by Jia Seng, Edited by Gerard & Onlined by Wywo under DeTouche Post.
