DOMINO’S ‘Cheese Bowl-cano’

With the tremendous success of the previous Cheese Volcano campaign, there was bound to be a follow up, & as the name implies, this time, it’s not a pizza, but a cheese dip shaped like a bowl.  Working with Agency FCB & production KDCo, we wanted to purely focus on food porn dipping shots, with […]

JOLLIBEE ‘Original Chickenjoy : Made With Love’

The 3rd instalment of the Jollibee series, with boards for each variant. Shooting this board was one of my favorites, as we built an actual u-shaped kitchen set with vibrant colors.  It gave so much authenticity to the whole homemade idea of the board.  Working with Agency Fishermen Intergrated & Graph Studios, we decided on […]

JOLLIBEE ‘Jolly Spaghetti : A Sweet Twist’

The 3rd instalment of the Jollibee series, with boards for each variant. This board was the most straightforward, but not necessarily the easiest.  We worked with Agency Fishermen Intergrated & Graph Studios once more.  The opening few shots were all top locked-off angles, but getting the pasta sauce to be just the right consistency was […]

MAMEE CHEF Tom Yam Thai ‘Ahirine Ahirudin’

Fun times with Clients Mamee & Agency Media Brands Content Studio once more, approaching Tom Yam in a fun & ‘action-oriented’ manner, with a twist ending.  We worked with production Optinovus Films on this one, making it in 1 long day with the numerous food porn shots & talent scenes as well.  We were graced […]

GARDENIA TOAST’EM ‘Choco Perfecto’

This was our – together with Shootworksasia – maiden job with Agency Oxygen & clients Gardenia. And I’d safely say we clicked.  Always valuing high production values, we strive to create interesting visuals even in the most straightforward of concepts because that’s what sets it apart from the ordinary.  Shooting the food shots went as […]

DOMINO’S ‘Blueberry Pizza Fold’

This was a short 6 seconds (from Agency FCB & Clients Domino’s) that needed to be punchy, yet delicious & appetizing as usual.  But shooting it was anything but short lol.  Getting the right looks of the blueberry fold, the thickness & viscosity of the blueberry jam & the cheese, that was a real challenge.  […]

DOMINO’S ‘World Cheese Pizza’

8 different cheeses, as the name implies.  So, nothing else on the pizza but cheese.  Not as easy as it sounds.  From the brains of Agency FCB & Clients Domino’s, KDCo & myself were tasked with making this film look appetizing & visually exciting.  We used the Laowa Probe2 lens to get some dynamic close […]

Domino’s ‘Crispy Fries’

Short & dynamic.  This was what we set out to do with the Freefly Ember 5k camera, we had some beautiful high speed fries crashing together, breaking apart – with rigging courtesy of Harris – & falling pizza salt onto crisy fries.  DPed by Chin, edited by Fai, & full Grading + Online by Meccanice […]

DOMINO’S ‘Double Cheeseburger Pizza’

We accomplished great things with this one.  A milestone.  And I’m completely grateful to production house KDCo, Agency FCB & clients Domino’s for believing in the vision & allowing us to execute it the way it was meant to be…using the Robotic Arm.  Having shot numerous Domino’s ads, it was high time to create something […]

Domino’s ‘Double Cheeseburger Pizza : Burger Crust’

Keeping it simple, yet really focusing on what the title suggests.  We romanticize the burger crust fully, traveling along the inner, top & outer undulating circular shape, fully embracing the sesame seeds as we move along, & finally ending up on the inside of the crust.  Of course, this idea spawned from the usage of […]
